1-4-2. How to Upgrading the BKMA-550 Software Version
This section describes how to upgrade the software version of the gateway PC. The version upgrade of
the gateway PC software version of the BKMA-550 (Asynchronous Network Board) can be implemented
by either one of the following two methods.
. Use the other PC that is connected to network.
. Copy the software module to CD-R and use the CD-R for version upgrade.
Required file
g2x-1_10-02011700.tgz: Software module (ver. 1.10) of the gateway PC
Procedure for upgrading the software version
1. Putting the software module
Put the applicable software module in the /home/setup/pkg folder of the gateway PC using the ftp com-
mand.
(example : How to put the software module from a Windows PC)
1. Start up the MS-DOS prompt (or command prompt).
2. Enter [ftp 192.168.0.1]. (Enter the IP address of the gateway PC in the underlined characters.)

3. When your PC is connected to other PC with ftp and the user name entry prompt is returned, enter
user: [setup] and password: [setup].
