by using the table (see above) or the
channel width selecting tool (7).
2. The dcuments to be bound must have
B1
a minimum thickness of 1,8 mm without
the covers. If the documents are thinner,
you must put a O.Filling Sticky which you
can buy from OPUS, to increase the thickness of the documents to be bound. For A,B,C sizes in
C-bind covers before binding you must fit both binding bars A1 & B1 in the binding slot. When
binding all other sizes of C-Bind covers, fit only B1 insert into the binding slot. Depend i ng
on amount of inserts used during binding, position of the extended back support (13) must be
changed. If in the binding slot there is only B1 Insert, the extended back support should be
moved forward, In the case of binding with two inserts A1 and B1 the extended back support (13)
should be move back.
3. When de-binding C-bind covers use the de-binding wedge which is available from OPUS.pl,
for Atlas 300 / MB 300 / MBE 300.
INPORTANT:
When using AA covers put the AA remove word de-binding jig on spine of the cover first.
4. Binding and de-binding covers from the C-bind system is done in a similar way to the
Metalbind system. In the C-Bind system you measure only the documents, not the documents
and covers. Use the cover selecting tool or the chart in this manual/user guide.
