Install EnergyCam on the meter" (chapter 0).
The green LED on the device will light up if the OCR can read the meter display.
If wM-Bus is enabled the EnergyCam sends a wM-Bus
data packet on every reading.
If you press the „Status OCR/wM-Bus" button the
software displays the actual status of the sensor.
f. Data Logger
EnergyCam Data Logger allows storing meter values in
internal memory.
Further technical documentation can be found in chapter 5 Further Documentation, page 37.
The Data Logger option is either activated due to your order or you can activate the option with an
activation key.
Order information can be retrieved under device configuration  Data Logger  Order details.
If the option is activated, the following workflow logs the meter readings on the device:

Connect EnergyCam with the PC. The time of the EnergyCam device is set.

Configure EnergyCam (Sensor Type, Reading Timer, ..)

Delete the existing Data and set Enable Data Logger=ON (page 21).

Disconnect EnergyCam from the PC and insert the battery.

Install EnergyCam on the meter (Button operation - page 4). After installing the device you can use the info
sequence (Button operation – 5 sec) to check how many datasets the Logger has stored. A dataset is also
added if a reading is triggered manually (Button operation – 1 sec).
If the logging is finished:

The Data Logger can be stopped with a Button
operation (see page 4).

Connect EnergyCam with the PC.
The ECWin software checks whether a
connected EnergyCam with activated Data
Logger option was used to log meter readings:
