Before installing the new filters, the filter frame must be cleaned very carefully.
The new filters must correspond to the make and model indicated on the tags
of the removed filters. (Also see LIST OF SPARE PARTS).
Once the cabinet has had the filters changed, or after any service work to filters or fans, it is mandatory that the cabinet be
tested again to ensure it is performing within the requirements as laid down in EN 12469:2000.
These tests will involve filter integrity tests, airflow speed checks and, annually, a KI Discus test for testing
containment. Also refer to any local or national standards that may need to be adhered to. Refer to Section 10 for more
information on testing.
For testing the filters, we recommend using the filter tests ports fitted so that the test smoke can be directed at the filters
and measured correctly. These test ports are located on the front of the cabinet behind the top panel and can be accessed
when the panel is hinged upwards. The ports are internally connected to the filter plenums as shown in Fig 14, behind the
service access panels.

The prefilters on Mars Pro are easily exchanged while the cabinets are running under full speed to
ensure full operator and environment protection. The prefilter cassettes are taken up and the prefilter
are carefully placed in plastic back and closed safely. Before installing the new filters, the filter
frame must be cleaned very carefully. Be careful not to harm the prefilters.
The new filters must correspond to make and the model indicated on the tags placed on the removed
panel
