ORIENTATION OF THE UPPER CHAMBER BASKET
y Trolleys ref.881800 and 881803 :
Use with receptacles set on the grid :
Depending on its use, the basket must be turned over.
y Trolley ref.881900 and 881903 : The upper compartment basket has no given direction.

OPERATION

y This apparatus is designed to hold cold temperature in the lower enclosure for starters, desserts and beverages and for
cold temperature hold then reheating followed by hot temperature hold in the upper enclosure for hot dishes.
It may be used for cold meal transfer or hot meal transfer.
y The temperature of the food to be loaded must be less than 3 °C.
y Loading is preferably performed in a refrigerated room and a refrigerated trolley. The loaded trolley is transferred to the
operating site and connecting to the terminal no later than 1 hour after loading.
y If your trolley has not been previously refrigerated, you must connect it to the terminal before 40 minutes:
- energise the terminal by depressing switch 1. Displays 4 indicate the current time.
- open the terminal's door and swing it back leftward.
- open and swing back to the right hand side of the trolley a door of each enclosure on the same side.
- place the trolley with its doors open in front of the terminal, by visually centring it, until junction is made (closing noise
of the hook).
- the refrigerated unit automatically starts up. The programme used will be the one featuring next service time, closest
to current time.
- reheating will be performed according to the data entered in the automatically selected programme. When reheating
time has elapsed the terminal will automatically switch to temperature hold.
- you can know what is going on at anytime :
* indicator lights 11 and 12 off: both enclosures are cold.
* indicator light 11 on: upper enclosure is reheating. Displays 4 alternately indicate the current time for 6 se-
conds and end time for 2 seconds. Displays 7 indicate the remaining reheating time.
* Indicator light 12 on: upper enclosure is at temperature hold.
y Note : if you want to perform service earlier than planned, you must switch the apparatus from automatic to manual :
Case 1 : Reheating did not start :
- Depress the button 5 (manual) and set the reheating time by the buttons 9 and 10. After ten seconds, the display will stop
blinking and reheating will start.
Case 2 : Reheating has started :
- switch off the terminal by means of switch 1, then reenergise.
- depress switch 5 (manual) and set reheating time with buttons 9 and 10. After 10 seconds, the display will stop blinking
and reheating will start.
y Display :
- At any moment of the cycle, time display in 4 and cold temperature in 3.
- during the reheating cycle, display of remaining time in 7.
y Cold food must be at the temperature below 3 °C, and hot food at a temperature over 70°C.
y Load the lower enclosure with cold food, and the open closure with hot food. You must connect the trolley to the terminal
before 40 minutes:
- energise the terminal by depressing switch 1. Displays 4 indicate the current time.
- open the terminal's door and swing it back leftward.
- open and swing back to the right hand side of the trolley a door of each enclosure on the same side.
- place the trolley with its doors open in front of the terminal, by visually centring it, until junction is made (closing noise
of the hook).
- the refrigerated unit automatically starts up.
- depress switch 5 (manual). Set the reheating time (displays 7) to zero. After 10 seconds, the display stops blinking and
temperature hold starts.
