OPERATION

y To operate the wheel, press the ON/OFF button on the control box 1, the light ring around the button lights up. The cart is gradually
set in motion using the joystick 2.
y To move forwards, push the joystick upwards.
y To move backwards, push the joystick downwards.
y The forward and reverse speed are able to be adjusted by the position of the joystick.
y The cart gradually accelerates, the maximum speed is reached in 2 seconds.
y If the joystick is released, the motor decelerates until the cart comes to a complete stop. After one second, the «free wheel»
function is triggered to facilitate handling. Inverting the direction of the controls allows for a more abrupt deceleration. Warning,
the motorised wheel is not equipped with a motor brake.
y The speed of the cart is limited to 4Km/h in the forward gear and 2Km/h in the reverse gear for safety and handling purposes.
y The autonomy of the cart is 10 Km or 5 hours of continuous use.
BATTERY MANAGEMENT
y The charge level of the battery is indicated by the light ring around the ON/OFF button :
- 100% to 50%
Green
- 50% to 30%
Orange
- Less than 30%
Red
y The battery is charged automatically as soon as the cart is connected to the mains.
y One to two hours are required for a full charge.
y The cart does not have to be unplugged after this period, as the charge is automatically controlled.
y In order to optimise battery service life, it is recommended to charge it before any period of non-use and at least once a month.
MAINTENANCE
y The wheel unit does not require any maintenance.
y The Lithium battery is guaranteed for a period of 1 year.
CAUSES OF NON-OPERATION
y Check the connections.
y Check the charger.
y Check the battery.
PRECAUTIONS IN USE
y The motorised wheel is designed for indoor use, on a flat, dry and smooth floor. It can however cross slight thresholds or slanted
flooring.
y The wheel is not equipped with a motor brake, but a retarder; it is therefore not recommended for it to be used on a slope.
y The cart should be parked using the brakes on the standard wheels.
y This equipment is not intended for use by individuals (including children) with reduced physical, mental or sensory capacities, or by
individuals lacking the necessary experience or knowledge, unless they have received supervision or prior instructions relating to
the use of the equipment by an individual responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they
do not play with the equipment.

This equipment carries the recycling symbol in accordance with Directives 2002/95/CE and 2002/96/CE relating to Waste Electrical or Electronic
Equipment (DEEE or WEEE) At the end of its working life the equipment should be recycled in accordance with the regulations that are in force in the
country of its installation. The worn batteries must be thrown in a specific dustbin.
