USER MANUAL
TRACTOR FRONT DISC MOWER
NOTE:
Before operation, check and adjust the PIC length as necessary between the
tractor and the machine (see the PIC label for instructions). With the procedure
completed, make sure that the PIC length with the machine in its service
configuration (in which the PIC collapses to its minimum length) is properly
adjusted. Repeat the PIC length adjustment procedure as required.
Couple the PIC with its friction clutch at the mower. Secure the PIC guard against rotation by
engaging the retaining chains in the respective retaining holes on the tractor's casing and the spline
casing lug on the mower.
NOTE:
Trim the PIC to the required length if necessary by following the PIC
manufacturer's instructions (Fig. 17).
NOTE:
Coupling the PIC in reverse orientation may cause failure of the PIC, the
intersecting gear axis, etc.
NOTE:
Couple the PIC with its friction clutch at the mower.
NOTE:
Couple the machine to the tractor only via the PIC shaft dedicated specifically
for the machine. Before operation, make sure that all guards (of the tractor, the
PIC, the PTO and the machine) are secured in place and undamaged. All missing
or damaged components must be replaced with original spare parts. Verify the
PIC for proper installation. Do not approach any rotating parts as this may result
in death or injury. Keep the tractor engine stopped and the PTO disengaged
while servicing the PIC and the machine. Read the machine and PIC user
manuals / instructions before operating.
