Power Source

This appliance must be electrically wired and grounded in accordance with local codes, or in the absence of local
codes, with National Electric Code ANSI/NFPA 70-latest edition or the Canadian Electric Code CSA C22 .1 . A 110–
120 V AC circuit for this product must be protected with ground-fault circuit-interrupter protection, in compliance
with the applicable electrical codes, when it is installed in locations such as in bathrooms or near sinks .
The electrical system can be powered either by plugging the adaptor into a grounded outlet or by installing 4 AA
batteries (alkaline ONLY) . If a mains A/C adaptor is not used, battery replacement is recommended at the beginning
of each heating season as part of the yearly service check . The receiver box is equipped with a low battery indicator,
which will beep frequently for 3 seconds when the motor turns .
