Checking the Vivo 2 before First Use

Before using the Vivo 2, perform the following checks.
1 Ensure that you have the equipment mentioned in 3.1 Main Components, page 27
2 Ensure that the equipment is in good condition.
3 Check that the air inlet filters are
installed.

Placing the Vivo 2

WARNING!
Read the chapter 2.3 Environment — Warnings and Precautions, page 17 carefully to make
sure all conditions are met and considered.
1 Place the Vivo 2 on a solid, flat sur-
face. The Vivo 2 should be placed
lower than the patient in order to
prevent the device from falling on
the patient, as well as preventing
condensed water from reaching the
patient.
