CPAP — Continuous Positive Airway Pressure
In CPAP mode the Vivo 2 is applying a continuous positive pressure to the airways. The
flow will automatically be adjusted to maintain the set CPAP level.
4.2

Treatment Settings

This section describes settings and parameters that affects the ventilating function of
the Vivo 2. On the machine, these settings are in the Settings menu.
4.2.1

Ramp Up

The ramp up setting defines a ramp time for increasing the airway pressures.
At the beginning of Ramp Up time, IPAP will start at 2 cmH
EPAP.
