Noise emission information: The direct fired chiller-heater running with the burner can produce an
A-weighted emission sound pressure level in excess of 80 dB(A). Normally the A-weighted sound
power level is less than 100 dB(A). Hearing protection must be worn at all times when operating
the chiller-heater. This hearing protection can impact how operators must communicate to be
understood.

Note: This data consists of reference values as the chiller-heater unit was not covered with
thermal insulation materials and the water pipes (for chilled water, cooling water, and gas)
were temporary during the measurement.
