Clock adjustment

This unit incorporates a clock function. Be sure to adjust the correct time before using the timer function. The time is displayed
only while the power is off.

Switching the power ON.

Press the TIMER/CLOCK key.
Select "ADJUST TIME",

then press the ENTER key.
÷ When operating on the remote control unit, Press the
Cursor Left/Right keys to select "ADJUST TIME".

Enter the figure of hour.
To decrease
÷ When operating remote control unit, Press the Cursor
Left/Right keys to select figure of hour, then press the
ENTER key.

Enter the figure of minute.
To decrease
÷ When operating remote control unit, Press the
Cursor Left/Right keys to select figure of minute,
then press the ENTER key.

Adjust the clock before setting the timer.
The following items can be selected by turning the MULTI
CONTROL jog dial.
"SLEEP TIMER"
"ADJUST TIME"
*"TIMER PLAY"
*"TIMER RECORDING": (Displayed when tape is
"AUTO POWER SAVE"
÷ Items marked with "*" are not shown when the
time is set first.
÷ The time display starts to blink.
For Europe and U.K.

For other countries
AM 12:00 j AM 1:00 j AM 2:00 j ••••• j PM11:00
÷ The minute display starts to blink.
For Europe and U.K.

PM 7:00 j PM 7:01 j PM 7:02 j ••••• j PM 7:59
÷ When the TIMER/CLOCK key is pressed while the power
is off, the present time will be displayed for about 5
seconds.
