Repeat Playback

You can repeatedly playback to favorite track, title chapter or the entire disc.
When playing a DVD
DVD
Press the REPEAT key repeatedly
When playing a CD or VCD
CD VCD
Press the REPEAT key repeatedly

Using the A-B repeat function

The A-B repeat function lets you mark a segment to
repeat between the beginning "A" and the end "B" of
the segment you want to review.
1 Press the A-B key at the beginning
"A" of the segment you want to
review.
2 Press the A-B key again at the end
"B" of the segment you want to
review.
When the A-B key is pressed during A-B repeat
operation, A-B repeat is cancelled and return to
normal playback will be made.

When press the REPEAT key once display the current status.
Each press switches the repeat mode.
1 "REPEAT : CHAPTER" ("RPT." lit)
Repeat the chapter currently playing.
2 "REPEAT : TITLE" ("RPT." lit)
Repeat the title currently playing.
3 "REPEAT : OFF"
Turn off the repeat feature.
This function also is cancelled when the tray is opened.

Depending on the disc, the repeat function may not work.

Repeat the current track.
2 "REPEAT : ALL" ("ALL", "RPT." lit)
Repeat all tracks.

÷ Depending on the disc, the repeat function may not
work.
÷ When in VCD 2.0 mode (MENU ON mode), this function
does not work. (Operation becomes possible when the
MENU key is pressed and the P.B.C. display is extin-
guished.)
÷ The segment will begin repeating.

or track.
÷ If the title or track is completed before marking the end
"B", the end of title or track becomes "B" automatically.
÷ Depending on the disc, the A-B repeat function may not
