Fastening the chair
Fix the chair to the fl oor with the enclosed fastening set. First,
remove the plastic covering from the base plate and fasten the
bottom plate with the dowels and screws.
The fastening set comprises:
– 4 Fischer dowels S 10
– 4 Screws RS 100 Z
Necessary drills:
– ø 10 mm
– depth 100 mm
The chair is not destined for use in explosion-
hazardous areas.

Power connection
The patient chair E1 is delivered with an IEC power connector.
It is inserted into the IEC power socket on the rear of the base
and linked with a properly installed earthing contact socket.
The electrical connection values (voltage and frequency) and
the value for the melting fuses are indicated on the data plate
above the connection socket.
The chair can only be separated from the mains supply by
disconnecting the mains plug from the wall socket.
There is no visual indication that the chair is
mains-supplied!
During non-usage, service or repair work and
during cleaning procedures, the chair must be
separated from the mains supply by disconnecting
the mains plug from the wall socket.
