Once belt is nice and tight, we will need to look at the 4 black
pulleys. We need to make sure that they are all in the correct
location and are also nice and tight.
There is one 27 tooth gear and three 29 tooth gears. They must be
in the locations specified in the image to the right. Having them in
any other order will cause a miscount to occur as well as jam the
motor.
Now we need to check that all the pulleys are tight. If one or more
are slipping, when the motor starts its high RPM motions the step
count will be off and will cause a misreading of the tickets.
To check the two gears on the Cutter Blade Assembly, place your
hands on the pulley on the motor and the pulley on the opposite
side of Ticket Taker Body. As shown below and twist in opposite
directions.

It should resist, if it does not then you have a
loose pulley. Each pulley has an Allen set screw
that can be tightened to ensure a good grip, with
no slippage.
