Technical Operation:
Standard Door Configuration:
The Standard Door takes in tickets. The top display will prompt the user to "Please
Insert Tickets" to begin. Once a ticket is inserted it passes through the first set of
receiver and transmitter optic sensors, these sensors trigger the motor to engage and
start the processes. The next step depends on whether you are reading the barcodes
or the ticket notches. If reading the barcodes, the next set of optic sensors read each
barcode on the tickets as they pass through. The last set is the same receiver and
transmitter as the first, but these count the notches between the tickets instead.
Whether counting barcodes or notches the count will be displayed on the red digit
display. Once all tickets have been processed the top display will prompt them to
"Print Receipt" and the "Get Receipt" button will begin to flash. When the button is
pressed a receipt will be printed out with the total tickets counted.
Card Swipe Configuration:
The Card Swipe Door takes in tickets. The top display will prompt the user to "Please
Insert Tickets" to begin. Once a ticket is inserted it passes through the first set of receiver
and transmitter optic sensors, these sensors trigger the motor to engage and start the
processes. The next step depends on whether you are reading the barcodes or the ticket
notches. If reading the barcodes, the next set of optic sensors read each barcode on the
tickets as they pass through. The last set is the same receiver and transmitter as the first,
but these count the notches between the tickets instead. Whether counting barcodes or
notches the count will be displayed on the red digit display. Once all tickets have been
processed the top display will prompt them to "Print Receipt" and/or "Swipe Card" and
the "Get Receipt" button will begin to flash. When the button is pressed a receipt will be
printed out with the total tickets counted. If the card is swiped the top display will return
to its normal "Please Insert Tickets" prompt.
