Replacing the steam pipe

6.8.1 Procedure:
Disassemble the appliance as described in the "General

disassembly" section.
2. Remove the front panel as described in the "Replacing the
front panel" section, points 1. – 6.
3. Remove the frothing aid and unscrew the adapter from the
steam pipe.
4. Release clamp (3), remove two O-rings (4) and split taper
socket (5) from the steam pipe.
5. Push the steam nozzle inwards and pull out of the front panel.
6. To refit the steam pipe, proceed in the reverse order of
disassembly.
Once the repair is complete, check for ease of movement from
the right to left stops.

Note:
The O-rings (4) must be replaced by a new one
every time a fluid connection is opened!
