Espresso / coffee preparation with ground coffee
Warning!
Risk of damage!
Do not use whole beans!
Do not use instant coffee!
Put in max. two scoops of ground coffee!
Note:
If the coffee brewing process does not start within 90 se-
conds, the brewing chamber is automatically emptied to
prevent overfilling. The appliance is rinsed.

Using the filling quantity
selector, set the required
amount of coffee and the
number of cups.
Place a cup under the outlet.
Adjust the outlet height.
Open right appliance flap
and ground coffee chute
flap (A).
Pour
one
or
two
scoops
of
medium-fine
ground coffee into the chute
for ground coffee.
Close the ground coffee
chute flap (A) and right
appliance flap.
Press the coffee dispensing
button.

Frothing up milk, preparing latte macchiato
Warning!
Risk of scalding! Risk of burns!

Note:
After using the appliance, always clean the frothing
nozzle. Dried milk residue is very difficult to remove
and impairs milk frothing.
When the steam button is pressed, some
steam may spray out.
Escaping steam is very hot!
Do not touch the frothing nozzle or point it
at anybody!
(1) Set the dial to milk froth or
warm milk.
(2) Immerse intake hose into
a receptacle containing milk.
Place a suitable cup or glass
under the frothing nozzle.
(3) Press the steam button.
The appliance heats up for
approx. 15 seconds to steam
temperature, then draws in the
milk and froths or heats it.
End the process by pressing
the steam button again.
