Steam button and operating panel replacement

Tools:
Pliers
6.7.1
Procedure:
1.
Disassemble the appliance as described in the "General
disassembly" section.
2.
Remove the front panel as described in the "Replacing the
front panel" section, points 1. – 6.
3.
Carefully push together two snap hooks (1) on both the top
and bottom of the operating printed board assembly (2) of the
steam / hot water button and remove the operating printed
board assembly.
4.
If necessary, disconnect electrical connection (3) to the
operating printed board assembly and replace the operating
printed board assembly.
When assembling the installation position of the
operating printed board assembly, please note: the
cable must point downwards!
5.
Push together two snap hooks (4) on adapter (5) and push
the adapter and button forwards out of the front panel.
6.
Unclip the button from the adapter and replace if necessary.
7.
To reassemble, first clip in adapter (5) with notch (6) towards
the inside of the panel.

Clip operating printed board assembly (2) into the adapter
8.
with the cable pointing downwards.
9.
Insert two pins (7) into the adapter from the front, check the
function (you can hear / feel the switch operate)
Snap the button into the adapter.
10.
Note assembly position:
TK6.- longer ridge towards the middle of the front panel
TCA6.- shorter ridge towards the middle of the front panel
After completing the repair, check the function (you can hear / feel
the switch operate)!
