ately if ring forms.
Cleaning Fabrics with Detergent Foam Cleaners
Clean general soilage from fabrics using detergent
foam as follows:
• Plan to clean a complete section or panel of
trim.
• Remove loose dirt and mask adjacent trim
panels.
• Apply foam according to manufacturer's
recommendations. Do not wet fabric
excessively or rub hanhly.
• Wipe clean With slightly damp, clean,
absorbent cloth.
o Aid drying by wiping with a dry towel.
When dry, wipe again to restore fabric
luster.
Seat Belt Care
• Clean only with mild soap solution and
lukewarm water.
o Do not bleach or dye belts since this may
severely weaken belts.
Leather and Vinyl-C.dill.c upholstery leathers
are made from select hides and are protected by
a special finish. Richly textured vinyl is provided
in certain areas of leather trimmed interiors.
Both leather .nd vinyl norm.lly c.n be kept clean
by regular dusting. Leather or vinyl that has
become soiled can be cleaned with GM Multo-
Purpose Powdered Cleaner or thick, sudsy lather
made from mild soap in lukewarm water. Avoid
the use of excessive amounts of waler. Remove
the sud. With a clean. damp cloth and wipe dry.
If a sheen

desired, bull with clean cheesecloth.
A high quality, glycerone base saddle soap can be
used, if desired.
Removal 01 SpecifIC Stain,
CANOY-Chocol.te: use cloth soaked in luke-
warm water, other than chocolate: use very hot
water. Dry. If necessary, clean lightly WIth fabroc
cleaning fluid.
CHEWING GUM-Harden gum with ite cube and
scrape oil WIth dull knife. Moisten with labric
cleaning fluid and scrape again. Finish with cloth
mOIStened with fabric c1eamng flUid.
FRUIT STAINS, COFFEE, LIQUOR, WINE,
SOFT DRINKS, ICE CREAM AND MILK-Wipe
With cloth soaked
In
cold water. If necessary
clean lightly with f.broc cle.ning fluid. Soap and
water is not recommended as it might set the
stain.
CATSUP-Wipe With cloth soaked in cool water.
If
further cleaning is necessary, use a detergent
foam cleaner.
GREASE, OIL, BUTIER, MARGARINE AND
CRAYON-Scrape off excess with dull kOile. Use
fabrM: deanl'lg flUId.
PASTE DR WAX TYPE SHOE POLISH-Ught
application of fabric cleaning fluid.
TAR-Remove excess With dull knife, moisten
with fabric cleaning fluid, scrape again, rub
lightly

BLOOO- 'pe WIth clean cloth moistened with

cold water. Use no soap.
URINE-Sponge stain WIth lukewarm soap sud.
from mild neutral soap on clean cloth, rinse WIth
cloth soaked

cold water, saturate cloth with
one PMt household ammonia water and 5 parts
water, apply for 1 minute, rinse with clean, wet

cloth. Dry WIth towel.
