Jacking
instructions
The spare wheel and tire and jacking lools are
stored in the trunk compartment of your Cadillac.
"Jacking Instructions" information placards on
the underside of trunk lid giw basic jacking
instructions and illustrations of jack positions, and
spare tire storage.
Preparations:
• Pari< on a level SlJrface, and set pari<lng brake
firmly.
• Set
transmission in "PARK".
• Activat. hazard warning
flasher.
• Block the wileel diagonally opposite the jack
position.
• Use jack adapter hook on rear bumper only.

rear bumper is to be
raised.
• Jack Position - Front
All Model. - Position the jack assembly (with·
out adapter) centrally between the two head·
lamp•. Securely engage jack hook (without
adapter) into proper slot in bumper.
• Jack Position - Rear
All Except Eldorado -
PO~llon
jack (with
adapter installed) approximately four inches
inboard of the bumper ..am. Engage adopter
hook securely in notch 81 lower edge of
bumper.
