Establishing start time

Establishing start time
The cycle usually starts as soon as you have
pressed the button
The appliance, however, offers two ways to
delay the start of the cycle:
Symbol Meaning

Start/end time delay:

Determine what time the cycle
should start or end.
'Off-peak':
The cycle starts during off-peak

electricity hours, i.e. preferably
during the night.
Start/end time delay
The start time delay can be set in one-hour
increments. The maximum start time delay is
23 hours.
Requirements:
– You have set the time on the appliance
as described in „Setting the time" on page
EN-28.
– You have selected the desired cycle.
1. To switch to 'Menu 2' tap the button be-
low the symbol .
2. Tap the button below the symbol
First the display shows only the end time
for selected cycle. It then switches to the
input screen.

You can increase or decrease the end
time in 10-minute increments.
Tap the buttons below the symbols < and/
or >. You can increase or decrease the
time in 10-minute increments.

5. Start the cycle with the button
The cycle begins at the pre-set start time.
Eco-Time – 'Off-peak'
Some electricity suppliers offer special tariffs
whereby the electricity is cheaper than nor-
mal at specific times – usually at night. You
can set your appliance to schedule a wash
cycle for this more economical period.
To use this function, you must first specify the
time frame. The second step is to switch-on
Eco-Time.
