Establishing drain for water

WARNING!
Risk of scalding!
Draining water can be very hot.
Fix the hose to the sink or bath to pre-
vent it from slipping due to the recoil
caused by pumping.
For drains, make sure that the cross
section of the discharge pipe is great
enough that the sink cannot overfl ow.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to water damage.
Use only the water outlet hose pro-
vided.
Do not extend the water outlet hose
or replace it with another hose.
The water outlet hose must not get
bent or twisted.
The bend on the water outlet hose
should be no more than 100 cm
above the ground to ensure that wa-
ter can be drained off properly.
The water outlet hose must be in the
retaining clips on the back of the ap-
pliance so that the bend on the hose
always remains above the waterline
inside the appliance. The end of the
hose must not be submerged in the
pumped water.
Set up and connection
You can fit the outlet hose in two ways:
Fixing with a hose holder
• Put the end of the water outlet hose (17)
over a hose holder and hang it over the
edge of a bath. You can find a hose hold-
er in a specialist shop or DIY store.
Attaching the discharge manifold
to a washbasin
• The water outlet hose (17) is mounted
onto a special device, which can be found
on the outlet manifold of a washbasin. In
doing so the lock on the siphon must be
removed.
Have this fixed by a specialist!
There is a washer in an unused
connection manifold to ensure that
no water can run out. This washer
must be replaced by a seal ring before con-
necting the water outlet hose.
