1 Before starting use

This chapter explains how to use this manual. It also contains information on safety and the basic symbols
used in it. Moreover, handling and operation of a teaching pendant (T/B) are described based on R32TB in
instruction manuals. If using other T/B, such as R56TB, refer to a supplied instruction manual of the T/B.
