Cleaning

Dräger recommends that the power-assisted filtering system Dräger X-plore 7300/7500 be cleaned
after every use. All parts must be carefully examined and any damaged or worn parts replaced:
Always observe the following points:
— The power-assisted filtering system Dräger X-plore 7300/7500 must always be cleaned in a
ventilated room or outdoors as harmful dust particles may have settled on parts of the Dräger
X-plore 7300/7500 system.
— Do not use flammable cleaning agents.
— Make sure that cleaning agents do not enter the power-assisted filtering system Dräger X-plore
7300/7500.
— Use a mild washing-up liquid (non-abrasive) to clean the equipment.
— Wipe every part of the equipment with a damp cloth, then carefully dry.
— The corrugated hose can be washed separately for 30 minutes at 86
bag. After washing, allow the corrugated hose to drip dry, then carefully use compressed air, if
necessary, to further dry the unit.
Do not wash the corrugated hose together with other parts and do not tumble-dry to avoid damages.

Storage

— Remove the Dräger respiratory filter – the blower unit must not be stored with the respiratory filter
fitted.
— Close the Dräger respiratory filter according to the corresponding Instructions for Use.
— Pack the blower unit and charger in a polyethylene bag and store in a clean, dry place (container
or cabinet).
— Recommended temperature: 32
— The Dräger respiratory filter should be stored in the original packaging until used.
