Refitting the NiMH Battery
Place the NiMH battery on the guide and move it back into position with a reverse movement.
Check that the catch on the NiMH battery is correctly engaged.
Dräger X-plore 7500
Removing the NiMH Battery
Hold the blower unit with both hands, the back of the NiMH battery facing towards the body.
Press the catch in the direction of the arrow with both thumbs.
This releases the NiMH battery.
Slide the NiMH battery upwards until it emerges from the blower unit.
Do not store the NiMH battery in a place where it could get shorted when its contacts touch metal.
The battery could be damaged.
Refitting the NiMH Battery
Hold the blower unit in the same position as before again.
Place the NiMH battery on the rail along the sides of the blower unit.
Push the NiMH battery downwards until the catches engage.
Replacing the Dräger Respiratory Filter
The power-assisted filtering devices X-plore 7300/7500 are delivered without a filter!
Order the filter separately.
— Use only the corresponding filters, otherwise the health of the user could be damaged severely!
— Use only Dräger respiratory filters.
— Do not insert damaged filters.
— Strictly follow the relevant Instructions for Use of the Dräger respiratory filter.
Dräger X-plore 7300
Remove the filter cover (silver-colored):
— Place your index finger and middle finger in the openings/gaps on both sides between the
housing and the filter cover of the blower unit.
— Hold your thumbs against the upper part of the blower unit.
— Place your index and middle fingers in the recesses under the edge of the filter cover and pull the
filter cover outwards.
— Remove the filter cover.
Turn the Dräger respiratory filter and pull it out.
Remove any dust in or on the blower unit.
If a preliminary filter or filter against noxious smells is used, it must be secured to the new Dräger
respiratory filter. Secure the preliminary filter or filter against noxious smells around the Dräger res-
piratory filter and stick the ends together using the adhesive tape on the preliminary filter or filter
against noxious smells.
Place the new Dräger respiratory filter on the housing using the same turning movement and press-
ing gently until the Dräger respiratory filter is securely seated in the blower unit again.
Refit the filter cover (silver-colored) on the blower unit.
The filter cover must engage correctly on both sides.
