3 Configuration Select 2- or 3-point calibration (only for pH measurement) Start configuration. Select the parameter “CAL”. Use the key to select the type of calibration. mbar AL Logg 2-Pt: 2-point calibration. The calibration of the pH combination electrode is carried out for two points (one point in the neutral range, and one point in the acidic or alkaline range).

3 Configuration Use the key to set the temperature shift (offset). AL Logg -10.0°C to +10.0°C The zero point for temperature measurement can be shifted by this amount, to compensate for probe or -18.0°F to +18.0°F measurement deviations. Measured temperature minus offset = displayed temperature.
  • Page 13: Manual Temperature Setting For Operation Without A Temperature Sensor

3 Configuration Manual temperature setting for operation without a temperature sensor For precise measurement of pH, mV or rH, the hand-held meter must know the temperature of the medium being measured. The ideal solution is temperature measurement by a Pt100 temperature sensor connected to the hand-held meter.

5 Measuring rH The rH value for a medium is calculated from the measured pH, redox and temperature of the liquid. For this measurement, special care should be taken that both the pH and redox combination electrodes are in a perfect state, and that they are calibrated and thoroughly cleaned and dried before making the measurement.
