All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com 5 Measuring NOTE! This measurement is intended exclusively for measuring seawater. The salin- ity measurement is not suitable for determining the salt concentration of other saline solutions. A measurement according to TDS is recommended in such cases, see Page 15.
  • Page 18: Linear Temperature Compensation "T.lin

All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com 5 Measuring 5.7.2 Linear temperature compensation "t.Lin" If the temperature compensation type is not precisely known, the "linear tem- perature compensation" is used in practice (see "Parameter "t.Lin": compen- sation coefficient", page 25). This involves making the simplified assumption that the ratio of the temperature to the concentration will take a linear trajec- tory across the measuring range being considered.
