The device and sensor must be handled with care and used according to the technical data (do not throw, do not subject to impact, etc.). Nameplate Position The nameplate is affixed to the base of the battery compartment. The measuring cell that is securely connected to the device remains stable for a long time when properly used and can be aligned using the integrated cali- bration function (see chapter 7.2, page 33).

The device is preconfigured per default for measuring the conductivity with automatic selection of the measuring range (Auto Range). Briefly press the key. The device activates all display segments for a short time (segment test).

The salin- ity measurement is not suitable for determining the salt concentration of other saline solutions. A measurement according to TDS is recommended in such cases, see Page 15.
All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com 5 Measuring 5.7.2 Linear temperature compensation "t.Lin" If the temperature compensation type is not precisely known, the "linear tem- perature compensation" is used in practice (see "Parameter "t.Lin": compen- sation coefficient", page 25). This involves making the simplified assumption that the ratio of the temperature to the concentration will take a linear trajec- tory across the measuring range being considered.
