Advanced PostScript Options
• PostScript Language Level
To optimize your DocuPrint NC60 features, make sure
the PostScript language level is set to the highest level
that your printer supports. Only consider using a lower
PostScript language level if printing problems occur.
The printer driver automatically sets the default value
to the highest PostScript language level supported by
the DocuPrint NC60.
• Data Format
— ASCII Data
Use the ASCII Data option to send all data in Adobe
Communication Protocol. ASCII Data format allows
the file to print on any printer.
— Tagged Binary Communications Protocol
Use the Tagged Binary Communications Protocol
option to send all data except special characters in
binary (8-bit) format over parallel or serial ports.
With this option, you do not need to set up the
DocuPrint NC60 to receive binary data.
— Pure Binary Data
Use the Pure Binary Data option to send all data in
pure binary format.
