• Process Black Graphics
When this setting is selected, the black graphics of
your documents are created by combining cyan,
magenta and yellow toner to create a process black
color. This feature may reduce gloss differences in
some documents that have gray regions next to color
regions. Black text is not affected.
Resolution
The resolution setting affects the amount of detail that is
reproduced on graphic images. Graphics resolution is
measured in dots per inch (dpi). Therefore, a 600 dpi
setting renders images using 600 dots (pixels) per every
inch of the image.
The image quality of printed documents typically
increases with higher resolution (dpi) and bits per pixel
settings, but it often results in slower print speed and
increased toner consumption.
Halftoning
• Use Printer's Settings
Choose this option if you would like to use the default
halftone screen settings that are available on your
DocuPrint NC60. See the section "Document Halftone"
(page 3-31) for available selections.
