PCL 5C Printer Driver Features
Create Overlay
Click the Create Overlay button when you want to create
a Page Overlay file. This button invokes a dialog where
you can specify the name of the overlay file and the
location where it will be created. This will initiate the
Overlay creation process. The next print job will create an
overlay file to the file name and location specified.
Delete Overlay
Click the Delete Overlay button to delete an overlay from
the list of overlays.
Download Now
Click the Download Now button to download an overlay
to the printer.
Delete All
Click the Delete All button to delete the overlays that are
stored on your printer or computer. A dialog will enable
you to choose the location(s) where the overlay files will
be deleted.
Query Page Overlay
This option causes a Message box to appear whenever a
Page Overlay is sent to the printer. This requests
confirmation that you wish to download a page overlay. If
this option is unchecked, the selected page overlay file
will always be sent to the printer.
This option is not active if No Overlay is selected or if the
present selected overlay has been permanently
downloaded to the printer.
