Possible Cause(s)
Turn the print density adjuster dial
counter-clockwise to decrease the toner
density.
Clean the main corotron and tranfer corotron,
as described in the section "Cleaning the
Corotron Wires" (page 7-10).
Replace paper stock.
Change page layout in software application.
Replace the Toner Cartridge, as described in
the section "Replacing the Toner Cartridge
and Cleaning Felt" (page 7-2).
Replace the Photoconductor / Drum, as
described in the section "Replacing the
Photoconductor / Drum" (page 7-6).
Turn the Print Density aduster dial clockwise to
increase the toner density.
Replace paper stock.
Replace the Toner Cartridge, as described in
the section "Replacing the Toner Cartridge
and Cleaning Felt" (page 7-2).
Replace the Photoconductor / Drum, as
described in the section "Replacing the
Photoconductor / Drum" (page 7-6).
