SPECIAL NOTE ON OPTIMIZER MODELS
The above diagram shows typical wheel gang positioning of optimizer model
pulverizers using optimizer wheels. Position of axle clamps is toward the
outside end of the machine. Also, it is especially important that fit of
wheels on the shaft remains tight. Wear and damage can result from
wheels that do not fit tightly against one another. Make frequent checks
to insure that close fit remains intact. If wheels have jostled apart,
adjustment is made by loosening and moving the clamp until the wheels
are tightly in place. Then retighten clamp.
