MAINTENANCE

Your Inside Lift has been designed and engineered to be as trouble-free as possible. But as with any
mechanical device, it requires regular care while owning and using it.
ALWAYS check the lifting strap before use and while using the lift. If any wear or damage is noticed DO NOT
USE THE LIFT! Contact the dealer or installer for repair. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or damage.
Schedule a preventative maintenance inspection with your dealer at least once a year on motors, lift frame,
wiring harnesses, and all moving parts.
Check for paint chips and touch up any bare metal with a good gloss black enamel or lacquer to inhibit
rust. This may be necessary more frequently if the lift is subjected to salt air or road salt.
Store hand control units inside the vehicle whenever possible. If the lift is installed in the back of a pickup
truck, unplug the hand control after each use and store it inside the cab. Submerging the hand control in
water may cause it to fail.
