8-3 OPERATION

There are 3 methods for automatically registering sensitivity by reading the sensor information. One is to
automatically register the sensitivity with the power ON. The second is to register the sensitivity by panel key
operation. And the third is to send command from the PC that is connected to RS-232C port. Operations of the
respective methods are described in the following.
(1) Setting of automatic sensitivity registration with the power ON
• Confirm the [LOCK] LED is turned OFF.
If it is ON, press the HOLD + FUNCTION keys at the same time for more than 2 seconds to cancel the
[LOCK] state.
• Press the FUNCTION key for more than 2 seconds to activate the function selecting mode and 'F-01' is
displayed on the indicator.
• Press the → key or SHIFT + ← keys to indicate 'F-14' and then, press the SET key.
• '0-0' is displayed on the indicator and the left side '0' flickers .The 2 numbers denote the following.
0 – 0
• The flickering numeric is operable. Press the ↑ key as it is to indicate '1-0.'
• Pressing the SET key indicates 'F-14.' Then, press the CANC key.
• Now, when the power is turned ON the next time, automatic sensitivity registration is conducted.
To return to the original state that conducts no automatic sensitivity registration, return the above '1' to
'0.'
• In addition, whether or not to conduct digital ZERO function with the power ON is set in the same
manner.
(2) Automatic sensitivity registration by key operation
Other than by turning the power On, arbitrary reading the TEDS information enables to automatically
conduct the sensitivity registration.
• Confirm the [LOCK] LED is turned OFF.
If the [LOCK] LED is ON, press the HOLD + FUNCTION keys at the same time for more than 2 seconds
and cancel the [LOCK] state.
• Press the SHIFT + TEDS keys for more than 2 seconds.
Then, ' ' is indicated to read the TEDS information and to conduct sensitivity registration.
