Scrub the abdominal area with a damp cloth and soap to remove any
topical lotion or oil and dry it properly.
Cleaning the abdominal area before monitoring is essential
for successful monitoring! If you experience failed monitoring
sessions, we recommend taking a shower before each
NOTE
session.

APPLYING GEL

1. Place the INVU Sensor Band™ on a flat surface (like a table), with the
sensors facing upwards (see Figure 5-7).
2. Apply the gel provided in the package to all 8 detachable sensors:
three on the upper strip of the band, three on the lower strip, and
one on each side of the band.
Apply a substantial amount of gel. The amount of gel used should
be about the size of a peanut and should only fill up the center
notch, as shown below in Figure 5-7.
Do not apply the gel on any of the acoustic sensors.
