Description of functions

Menu 1 - Sensor
(Pos. 1.4) - Empty pipe detection [E.P.detect]
Switches the automatic calibration for empty pipe detection On/Off.
(Pos. 1.5) – Electrode cleaning function [E.cleaning]
Set the strength of electrode cleaning function. OFF, MIN, AVG or MAX. No need for low fluid conductivity.
(Pos. 1.7) - Automatic zero adjustment [Autozero cal.]
This parameter switches the automatic zero adjustment On/Off. This adjustment is necessary after correct mounting to get proper readings
especially for low flow rates. During the adjustment, the sensor must be completely filled and fluid to be measured must be completely still.
Even the slightest movement impairs the result. As soon as this requirement is met press the key
by pressing the key .
Menue 2 - Scales
(Pos. 2.1 and 2.2) - Measuring range FS1 and FS2 [FS1-2=dm³/SX.XXXX]
This parameter defines the measuring range FS1 and FS2. The parameter consists of 4 fields (from left to right): volume unit, dimension,
time unit, measuring range. The following tables show the available measuring units and the conversion factor in comparison with 1 dm3
and 1 kg. The transducer accepts all inputs that meet the following conditions:
- Numerical value ≤9999
- 1/25 measuring rangemax ≤Numerical value ≤measuring rangemax.
The maximum measuring range corresponds to the flow rate of 10 m/sec. In the display, the units are shown as illustrated in the table.
British and American units are differentiated by the use of capital and small letters.

(Pos. 2.3) - Unit and number of decimal places [Tot.MU=m³ X.XXX]
This parameter defines the unit and number of decimal places for the display of total consumption and filling volume.
- To select the unit, place the cursor on the field of the instantaneous unit.
- To select volume or mass (metric, British or American system), place the cursor in the empty field between unit and numerical field.
- Enter the number of decimal places in the numerical field. Possible combinations are 1.000 - 01.00 - 001.0 - 00001.
(Pos. 2.4 - 2.5) - Pulse value channel 1-2 and unit of total value [Pls1-2=dm³X.XXXXX]
This parameter defines the pulse value and unit. The parameter consists of 3 fields (from left to right): Unit, volume/mass and pulse value.
- To select the unit, place the cursor in the field of the instantaneous unit.
- To select volume or mass (metric, British or American system), place the cursor in the empty field between unit and numerical field.
- The pulse value is entered in the numerical field.
If the nominal diameter is set to 0, only the numerical field can be altered, since the unit is metres (m) or feet (ft). The available units are
described above. This function is only active when pulse is assigned to channel 1.
(Pos. 2.6 - 2.7) - Pulse length channel 1-2 [Tpls1-2=ms XXXX.XX]
This parameter defines the pulse duration in milliseconds. The value range is 0.4 - 9999.99. If a high output frequency was chosen, the
minimum pulse length can be reduced to 0.4 milliseconds. Important: The user is responsible for ensuring that the set values can be
processed by the connected device.
Menu 3 - Measure
(Pos. 3.1) - Dampening the Measurement
This parameters defines the dampening of measuring signal.
- Setting "OFF" means no dampening.
- Setting "SMART1/2/4" use a automatic adaptive dampening which results to a quick response to flow changes and a stable averaging.
As higher the value as less quick responding is the measuring.
- Setting a time constant "0.2 – 1000 seconds" the measuring will be averaged accordingly. A high value results in a more stable display,
but also results in a slow responding measurement.
