ADJUSTING MEASURE

Re-adjusting the pointers for horizontal
measuring of the midway fences.

After the midway fences have been
smoothened, the pointer has to be re-
adjusted.

Put the saw-unit in horizontal position.

Position the saw-blade on the midway
fence, in such a way that it just
touches the material.

Lock the motor carriage.

Adjust the pointer at the right side of
the carriage at 0 (Fig. 27).
Re-adjusting pointers for horizontal
measuring of the bottom support:

After the bottom supports have been
smoothened, the pointer has to be re-
adjusted.

Put the saw-unit in horizontal position.

Position the saw-blade on the bottom
support, in such a way that it just
touches the material.

Lock the motor carriage.

Adjust the pointer at the right side of
the carriage at 0 (Fig. 28).
Adjusting the distance between pointer and
measure scale:

Remove the cover of the carriage.

Loosen adjusting screw of pointer (Fig.
29).

Push pointer against the measure
scale.
4
Fasten adjusting screw.

Mount the cover.
