6.3 Installing the AC Output Power Cable

Prerequisites
A three-phase AC switch needs to be configured outside the AC side of the SUN2000. To
ensure that the SUN2000 can safely disconnect from the power grid under abnormal
conditions, select an appropriate overcurrent protection device according to local power
distribution regulations.
Do not connect loads between the SUN2000 and the AC switch.

To enhance the corrosion resistance of the ground terminal, apply silica gel or paint on the ground
terminal after connecting the ground cable.
If the SUN2000 communicates over PLC (MBUS), a CV cable is recommended. If the
SUN2000 communicates over RS485, a CV or CVT cable is recommended.
If you connect a ground cable to the ground point on the enclosure shell, you are
recommended to use a three-core (U, V, and W) outdoor cable. If you connect a ground
cable to the ground point in the maintenance compartment, you are recommended to use
a four-core (U, V, W, and PE) outdoor cable.
