Network Application
The SUN2000 applies to grid-tied PV power systems for commercial rooftops and large
power stations. Typically, a grid-tied PV power system consists of PV strings, grid-tied
inverters, AC combiner box, and isolation transformer, as shown in

Supported Power Grids
The SUN2000 only supports the IT power grid mode, as shown in
Figure 2-3 Power grid mode supported by the SUN2000

The SUN2000 is mainly used for medium-voltage power grids. It delivers three-phase, three-wire output,
which is then fed to a medium-voltage power grid through a step-up transformer.
