The new nodes will be named and numbered sequentially starting from 1. Should
the actual CCTV configuration be different, you can change the default address in
the Node tab (see Fig 31). We recommend changing the node name as well so
that it will still correspond to the address.

Linking the switcher to the communication network
Link the switcher node to the NK8000 port:
1. Expand the network folders until you reach the node that represents the net-
work component that is physically connected to the switcher serial line (NK822x
device).
2. Select the top node of the switcher subsystem.
3. Drag and drop the node to the network port devoted to Burle/Philips unit
(see Fig 32).
Note: The valid link positions on NK8000 gateways are distributed along the
NK822x lines. Composer helps you to recognise valid links by showing a shortcut
