TELSCAN configuration tips

Connecting the video cameras to TELSCAN
1. Select and expand the TELSCAN node.
2. Select and expand the camera node.
3. Select the video-out node of the camera.
4. Drag and drop the Video Out signal to a TELSCAN Video In node (Fig 12).

Check that TELSCAN firmware version is V2.0 or later.
Note that firmware update is possible with the support of the CCTV Hotline.

Do not forget to transfer to TELSCAN the customisation file from the setting
page in Composer (see p. 16).

Video applications recommended for TELSCAN:
– MozillaControl15 ActiveX (recommended for better performance and man-
datory for Siemens IP cameras).
