Note: The SIMATRIX could also be included in the configuration as a stand-alone sub-
system, not included in the video network. This option is mainly available for backward
compatibility.
In Composer, the CCTV units are configured to reproduce the video connections in
the field. For example, as depicted in the Fig 5, a system may include cameras and
monitors, a SISTORE AX DVR and a SIMATRIX crossbar. The cameras provide
one or more video-out signals which are fed into the video-ins of SISTORE and
SIMATRIX that, in turn, can supply a number of video-outs to the monitors.
