I/O Configurations

You can use the digital input on the power connector as:
• Pulse counter
• Digital input

Pulse Counter / Digital Input

You can connect the digital input pin to a pulse counter to monitor frequencies to 512 Hz, with duty
cycle between 25%-75%. or a digital input to detect the state of a switch or to monitor an external
device such as a motion detector, a remote solar panel, or a remote camera.

0 - 1V
2.7 - 36V

Relay

Pins 5 and 6 of the power connector can be connected to an external circuit which will be controlled
by the internal relay. When the relay is engaged, the external circuit will be completed. The relay is a
NO relay.
The relay is rated at a maximum of 1A@24VDC.
