Before removing the fingerprint reader board, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the bottom cover
3.
Remove the battery (see
Remove the fingerprint reader board:
1.
Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the fingerprint reader board (1).
2.
Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screw (2) that secures the fingerprint reader bracket to the computer,
and then remove the bracket (3).
