Clearing stopped documents in the track using the 'SmartClear' function

To remove a stopped document from the track, first use the 'SmartClear' function (see
above). This will cause the unit to drive the stopped document out of the track.

Manually removing stopped documents

If the stopped document is not ejected, then open the front and image covers (see
Expert Micro Elite above) and remove the stopped document by pulling it parallel to the track, as shown below.
