SimpleSwitch Connectivity
The SimpleSwitch Connectivity feature provides a convenient way to perform initial set up to the connection
mode on your scanner by following the steps below. Once configured, the scanner will remain in that mode
unless reset using the instructions on the back of this sheet.
USB MODE

Plug in power supply and
the USB cable.
RNDIS NETWORK MODE

Plug in power supply only.

Power on the scanner.

(for supported applications)

Power on the scanner.

Wait for the indicator light on
the Smart Button to turn red.
Power on the Scanner.

Connect the USB cable for
an RNDIS network connection
then re-boot the scanner.
