4-5-3. ORDERING INFO RMATION
When ordering a replacement part listed in the Replaceable Parts List, specify the Hewlett­
Packard part number and the q uantity required, and send the order to the nearest Hewlett­
Packard office.
When orderi n g a part not listed on the Replaceable Parts List, state the full i nstrument model
num ber and serial n umber, d escribe the function of the part, and give the q uantity requ ired.
Send the order to the nearest H ewlett-Packard office.
4-5-4. D IRECT MAILING ORDERING
Within the U n ited States, Hewlett-Packard supplies parts through a direct mail order system.
The advantages of using this system are:
Direct order and shipment from the HP Parts Center in Mountain View, California.
N o maximum or minimum on any mail order ( there is a minimum order amount
for parts ordered through local H P offices when the order requires billing and
invoicing ).
Prepaid shipping ( there is a small handling charge for each order ).
No invoices--a check or money order m ust accompany the order.
Mail order forms and specific ordering information are available through your local HP office.
Addresses and telephone n um bers are given at the back of this manual.

The schematic d iagram for each board provides you with circuit information. Figure 4-2
shows the symbols used in the schematic diagrams.
