2-1 0. DC BIAS LEVEL ADJUSTMENT (OPTION 001 ONLY)
This adjustment updates the E E PROM Calibration Data to set the DC bias voltage. The
adjustment program is necessary to perform this adjustment.

H P-I B Cable
Interface Box
B N C(m) to BN C(m) Cable ( 30 cm )
BNC(f) to Dual Banana Plug Adapter
PROCEDURE:
1 . Display the adjustment program's main menu , referring to paragraph 2-7-
2. I N ITIAL OPERATI NG PROCE D U R E .
2 . Press the 'Adj. 1 ' softkey t o select the DC Bias Level Adjustment.
When the computer cannot access the H P 3458A, the H P- I B address
registration display appears . Enter the HP 3458A's H P- IB add ress
using the numeric keys and the 'Enter' softkey.
3. Perform the adjustment acco rding to the program ' s instruction.
