The A30 handler interface board consists o f photo couplers, an d the peripheral interface
adapters.
[ Photo Couplers ]
Photo cou plers A30 U 1 through A30U7 opto-isolate the input and output signals. J umpers (
A30W1 through A30W1 1 ) are set according to the pull up voltages used. For more detail
information about the i n put/output signals and jumpers, refer to the handler interface opera­
tion note in the HP 4284A operation manual.
[ Peripheral Interface Adapters ]
A30 U 1 3 and A30 U 1 4 are peripheral i nterface adapters ( PIAs ) which interface between the
A7 CPU board and the A30 board.
